Why become a member – what’s in it for you . . . .
Your teaching preferences are paramount to us. Happy, confident CRTs do a better job. Therefore we want to know what you want, so we can deliver.
You determine what grades, what schools, and how far you’ll travel, you decide what days you want to work, what volume of work you want, and if you’ll
accept half days. Schools have all kinds of needs and everyone has a role to play no matter how small in helping us meet those needs.
Confidentiality guaranteed . . .
Your preferences are confidential so you’ve no worries about offending a school or being ‘put on the spot’. MOSAIC is a centralized point of contact
between all our schools and teachers. You only have to communicate with one person instead of a multitude making life easier.
In pursuit of the best outcomes . . .
Working directly with schools can be tricky. Principals and vice-principals have highly demanding jobs so in many cases their main objective
in filling staff vacancies, is to fill them as quickly as possible, especially if it's first thing in the morning when they're trying to get ready for work. With this in mind, if a CRT is
unavailable too often, their position on the list drops only because the school rings those who were more readily available first. Not so when working with
MOSAIC. While time is certainly a factor, this is our primary job and we are much better equipped to quickly pin point not only who's available for the job,
but the best person for the job. Knowing your preferences helps us immensely to get the best outcomes not only for you and the schools, but the students as well.
Our reward . . .
Fees for using our service are pro rata, small and best of all, tax deductible. Membership with MOSAIC is free and you only pay MOSAIC a small reward for the work we
provide. It’s tax deductible so you can claim it on your tax return. You will have access to all the schools we service (provided they are happy
with your work), plus you are free to work for other non-member schools. You will know many of your bookings in advance.
Our Relationship with you . . .
MOSAIC is a specialist booking agency for replacement teachers. We coordinate the staffing of emergency and short term contract vacancies in schools. We are not a recruitment
agency and therefore do not employ our member teachers. As an employee of the schools, you will be covered under their Workcover and liability policies, and it is the
school who will pay your wages and superannuation.

MOSAIC is all about choice. You choose how you want to work. We have the potential to broaden your access to more schools, offer a diversity in working environments or
offer a very select, small and personal working environment. Your work can become more exciting with the change of grades and schools, or more personal if you’d prefer.
MOSAIC is convenient because once you've been accepted by the school, the choice is yours.

you our information pack. It contains our registration form and the terms and conditions under which we’re prepared to offer our service. As part of your application we also
require certified copies of the following documents.

- Evidence of Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration.
- Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration Card.
- A letter from the Institute acknowledging acceptance of your application for registration.
It must display your new registration number and criminal records check results.
- Evidence of current anaphylaxis certification.
- Completed as part of your First Aid Certificate.

- Photographic identification & evidence of date of birth
(Drivers Licence, Birth Certificate/Extract or Passport or Certificate of Citizenship.)
- Evidence of academic/teacher qualification
(Transcripts/Certificates/Degrees or Diplomas)
- A Current Resume
